Milwaukee Urban Acupuncture opened in late 2013. We are a team of Wisconsin licensed practitioners dedicated to community wellness and lifetime learning. Our space is a combination of a communal acupuncture room and one private room for Massage Therapy, Reiki and Orthopedic Acupuncture.
Treatments focus on wellness and balanced health as well as pain and symptom management. This traditional style acupuncture takes place in our communal room where you can sit in a zero-gravity chair with needles in anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Needles are primarily placed in the limbs of the body. Incorporated treatment strategies include nutritional consulting, Chinese herbal therapy, and breathwork.
Our contemporary style acupuncture takes place in a private treatment room. It focuses on pain management by correcting muscle dysfunction and interrupting the nervous system's pain response through electricity. It incorporates Trigger point acupuncture (or Dry Needling), Motor point acupuncture and Neurofunctional acupuncture. Learn more about acupuncture types
